All property will be handled with the utmost care while we clean and remove smoke/vapour
contamination. We use silicon containers and plastic buckets to protect your pieces from contacting hard surfaces.
a) accidentally dropping property
b) unintentionally mishandling property, such as allowing glass on glass collision resulting in damage
c) using improper cleaning products causing damage to property
We are not responsible for:
a) damage such as previous cracks and fractures. (Oil and resin sometimes are the glue holding the fractured glass pieces together. Once the oil and resin are removed the previous crack or damage will become obviously noticeable, sometimes resulting in parts separating.)
b) damage due to temperature change. (Your pieces will go through safe temperature changes (warm water applied) during cleaning process but this can also cause previous cracks and fractures to spread, sometimes resulting in parts separating. Our cleaning water temperature is warm to the touch but not hot.)
c) stuck pieces, bowl or stems. (There is a chance stuck items can break when dislodged. We will use cleaners and solvents to loosen stuck parts and apply gentle methods to separate all stuck pieces.)
All pieces values will be agreed upon before cleaning, otherwise no monetary compensation will apply in case of damage.
We will monetarily compensate the agreed upon property worth, up to a maximum of $50, if we are responsible for property damage.
